Computer-controlled air-conditioning ... new technology.

VTS Clima, a leading European air handling units (AHU) manufacturer, will showcase its complete range of products that are manufactured to conform to the specifications and requirements of the Gulf climate, at this year's Big 5 show. VTS Clima will be at stand number 1E11 (Hall One) at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.

The company, which was impressed with the response received at last year's show, hopes for even greater success this time around.
'Innovation is a watchword at the company, being an inseparable part of its mission and culture', says a spokesman for the company.  'And at this year's show, the company will promote a number of new products based on the highest European standards', he says.

These include:
Energy Recovery Systems - the energy recovery wheel together with the plate heat exchanger result in considerable savings, which can be achieved whatever the level of investment.
Drop Elimination System - this new solution patented by VTS Clima allows higher face velocity without the risk of water droplets entering the system. This system allows the creation of smaller and compact units, which are cost effective.

Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) - is an interesting and easy navigation system released by the company that is based on the model of a PC. The remotely-controlled system represents a new era in air control systems featuring significant advantages for the end-users.

New Construction of the Unit - the new units comprise polyurethane (PU)-insulated panels, which are much lighter and provide better thermal insulation than commonly-used mineral wool, the spokesman claims. The new profiles feature thermal breaks and are specially designed to withstand the high temperature and humidity of the region.

'VTS Clima also plans to launch a plug fan with direct drive technology at the forthcoming show. This feature uses an additional VFD (variable frequency inverter), which provides significant advantages to the designers, consultants and users of VTS Clima systems', the spokesman says.

'At VTS Clima, we have a goal of constantly improving systems and procedures in order to comply with client requirements and provide better solutions for the end user,'  he adds. 'In addition to producing good AHUs and looking after its clients, the company also focuses on ensuring a good, healthy work environment for its work force, which is also the reason behind the company's success.'

Its approach to sophistication in the manufacture of air handling units, is also apparent in the launch of a new and improved website, and the production of new catalogues 'Clima Innovations' which should be available at the Big 5 show. VTS Clima will also organize a raffle competition at its stand, during the show.

VTS Clima has been known for its philosophy of constantly developing and improving products and services in a bid to deliver better solutions to its clients, the spokesman says.
It uses its high expertise in air-handling units to further enhance its products and reduce manufacturing costs, affording cost-savings in the purchase of entire heating, cooling, and ventilation and air conditioning systems.
Considerable annual investments in research and development ensure that VTS Clima air-handling units offer superior quality at attractive prices, the spokesman says.

VTS has major plans for positioning itself as the leading supplier of AHUs in the region's fast-growing markets, especially the UAE. The company is currently involved in a variety of projects ranging from luxurious villas, through university facilities, municipal buildings, shopping malls, recreation centers, hotels, banks and other industrial and real estate projects.

'Established in 1989, the corporation is the biggest and most specialized producer of  air-handling units,' claims the spokesman. 'VTS Clima has four manufacturing plants in central and Eastern Europe, one in China and an assembly unit in the UAE. Despite the crises in the European economy last year, the company reported sales in excess of 19,000 units and this year's forecast significantly exceeds this figure.'

Over the past two years, the company has been active in the Middle East, with offices in Jebel Ali, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. To meet the demand for its products in the regional market, the company will open further representative offices in Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. It is also keen to take part in Iraq's reconstruction process.

To further exploit the great potential of the Middle East market, especially in the air-conditioning and ventilation sector, the company has recently begun to operate through dealers, improving its chance of penetrating different markets simultaneously.

Apart from the rapid development of a sales structure, VTS Clima constantly improves its network of technical support and maintenance teams to ensure reliable after-sales services.
VTS recently opened a new showroom in Garhoud, Dubai which presents live demonstrations of the units and their performance. This is accompanied by professional, technical explanation and advice.
