Germany-based Sommer Anlagentechnik, which is specialised in the production technology and automation systems for the precast concrete industry, is keen to enhance its exposure in the Gulf and is participating in the regional expos.
Sommer is taking part in the SaudiBuild 2003 this month (October 19 to 23), and will also be present at the Big 5 Show 2003 next month, says Dr Ziad Musa, Middle East sales manager.
The company offers a host of products and services for the precast industry including: planning and design of plant, manufacture of complete production lines, installation and commissioning of production plant, consulting for the prefabricated concrete production technology and hardware and software engineering for the automatic production.
The company's production range includes: stationary production with production lines, folding pallets and tilting tables; pallet circulating systems for the production of precast concrete elements such as slab, double wall and solid wall from standard and lightweight concrete; shuttering for special components such as rectangular shuttering, garage shuttering, transformer stations and room cells; shuttering for skeleton structures such as columns, girder and double-T elements; and accessories such as shuttering systems and magnet systems.
Sommer Anlagentechnik, which has more than 40 years of experience in the precast business, says that the precast concrete industry deserves special attention as it is going to be the technology of the future, particularly in the GCC countrries, which are making substantial investment in a large number of building projects.
The company will also reinforce itself on the international market by participating at Bauma (March 29 - April 4, 2004) in Munich, Germany.
