US Chiller Services, which has offices in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Dubai, claims to be the preferred organisation in the Gulf that is factory and industry certified to service and repair York, Carrier, Trane and McQuay liquid chillers.
The company will be present at the Big 5 to reinforce its presence in the region.
''Facility chillers, if not serviced and repaired by a certified specialist, could cost thousands of dollars in useless repairs and excessive energy consumption, which is why it becomes important to decide whom to trust in the service and repair of facility chillers and ancillary HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditionining) equipment,'' says Middle East manager of US Chiller Services Dan Mizesko. ''Only three organisations Coil Tech/US Chiller Services (Bahrain), Al Shirawi/US Chillers (Dubai) and Zamil Cool Care/US Chiller Services (Saudi Arabia) (all joint venture companies) in the entire Middle East are factory and industry certified to service all the major manufacturers' chillers.''
The projects that have been awarded to the US Chiller Services in Bahrain include: complete retrofit and modernisation of two Trane centrifugal chillers at the Regency Inter-continental Hotel, Bahrain; the service contract of five Carrier centrifugal chillers of a capacity of 3,500 tonnes at the Bahrain International Airport chiller plant; the servicing of 10 Carrier centrifugal towers of a capacity of 8,600 tonnes at the Salmaniya Medical complex; ); the complete overhaul and repair of a 1,800-tonne Carrier centrifugal chiller at National Chemical Company; and the complete retrofit of four York reciprocating chillers at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Hotel and Spa.
The company has also bagged the contract for the complete overhaul and repair of Trane centrifugal chillers at the City Centre (Dubai); the service contract for the King Fahad Military Hospital (Saudi Arabia) Trane centrifugal chillers, total plant capacity 9,000 tonnes; and the refrigerant conversion of four York 2,600-tonne centrifugal chillers from R-500 to R-134 at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital (Saudi Arabia).
US Chiller Services met all these customers to discuss their existing situations and proposed solutions that would benefit the end-user. It was our superior technical capabilities, our certifications, expertise and experience in the large tonnage chiller service industry, as well as our competitive pricing that established us as the number one choice in the awarding of these prestigious and important projects, says Mizesko.
The field service engineers and chiller specialists of US Chiller Services have received their certifications from factory and industry training centers in the US. There are currently 10 American service engineers from US Chiller Services located in the Gulf performing services. All are members of the Refrigeration Services Engineers Society as well as the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). They have also received training by and are all members of the United Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Service Engineers, he says.
Coil Tech/US Chiller Services also provides training to the industry. It has a technical training division in Bahrain that provides training on all manufacturers' liquid chillers. The company claims to offer products and services that reduce the energy consumption of chillers while not compromising on the cooling requirements.
US Chiller Services is available to provide service seven days a week, 24 hours a day, throughout the Middle East and Gulf.
