The acoustic louvres were manufactured by Kinetics Metal Construction Industry.

Kinetics Group, a leader in noise and vibration control solutions, has successfully delivered and installed a state-of-the-art acoustic system, comprising 84 double-bank louvres, for a prestigious luxury resort in Ras Al Khaimah.

The project’s primary goal was to mitigate noise from the exhaust fans of the resort’s expansive car park, which operate at high levels between 80–90 dBA. The double-bank acoustic louvres, each engineered to a 300 mm depth, were strategically installed across 11 fan rooms serving the car-park.

This specialised solution effectively attenuated the noise, ensuring the project’s stringent specifications were met and creating a quieter, more comfortable environment for resort guests and staff.

The acoustic louvres were manufactured and delivered by group companies Kinetics Metal Construction Industry (KMCI) and Kinetics Acoustics Technical Services (KATS), respectively.

Kinetics Group offers a complete range of noise and vibration control solutions including inertia bases.

The acoustic louvres are manufactured at KMCI’s facilities in Umm Al Quwain, showcasing the company’s in-house production capabilities. The facility is one of the few in the region equipped to produce high-performance noise control solutions of this calibre.

The project utilised advanced software analysis, developed in the US, to ensure the system met stringent performance requirements. This combination of international technology and local manufacturing expertise enabled rapid project delivery, says Kinetics Group.

By combining international analysis software with its local manufacturing expertise, Kinetics Group was able to ensure rapid project delivery and high-performance results.

KMCI serves as the group’s steel fabrication facility producing custom steel and metal components essential for acoustic and vibration control projects.
