Ozone designs and manufactures architectural glass for interior and exterior applications
UK-based Ozone Holdings, the Ofex-listed designer and manufacturer of contemporary architectural glass, has announced plans to set-up a new joint venture design and manufacturing operation in Dubai to service the Middle Eastern market place.
The new operation, called Ozone Glass Middle East, which will service the countries of UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, and Turkey, is expected to be fully operational in early 2004.
Ozone Holdings designs and manufactures architectural glass for interior and exterior applications. Best known for its extensive ranges of contemporary formed glass designs, the company is fast becoming a worldwide operation producing a large range of glass products for every application. Ozone is service focused and provides its customers with complete solutions delivered by a friendly and knowledgeable team, says a spokesman for the company.
Ozone Glass Middle East will be offering all the established products familiar to regular specifiers of Ozone glass. The product range includes the Ozone Originals line of contemporary formed glass textures, the refreshing Zen range of cool and sophisticated sandblasted designs as well as the popular Chromozone range of applied glass colours.
The new facility will be the latest addition to the rapidly growing network of Ozone operations that are planned to go worldwide. Dubai was chosen to be the base for the facility because of its geographic position and the role played by the emirate in defining the architecture for the region, says a spokesman.
Julian Saunders, founding director of Ozone Holdings, says: We are delighted to make this exciting announcement and we are confident that Ozone products will be well-received by architects, designers and end users alike in this sophisticated and dynamic market place. The Middle East is an important region in our plans and we are positive that Ozone will become a key supplier within the architectural glass market.
Ozone Middle East will be showing a broad range of its architectural glass products at The Big 5 exhibition in Dubai, between 29 November and 3 December, including the new Seracs range of super-thick glass.
