Commenting on the company's participation at the Big 5, Dr Askari says: The major reason for participating in the exhibition is to attract more customers from the UAE, and other Gulf countries, and to extend our scope of business operations to the world market. We have exhibited at the Big 5 show for the last three years and the response has been good. We have negotiated several deals both during and after the exhibition.

This year we have launched a new brand of mixers (modomix), glass washbasins, mirrors (modoglass). Business has increased this year as compared to the previous years, and our areas of operations are extending to various markets in the world.

The Gulf countries offer good prospects for the construction industry. Our main markets are in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Yemen, Qatar and Oman. The UAE market is one of the best, as it is fairly competitive. We have tried to ensure customer satisfaction by providing good quality products at competitive prices, Dr Askari says.
