Aluminium mashrabiyas ... maintenance-free.

Saudi-based aluminium manufacturing and casting company Al Esra, which will be participating in the Big 5 show, will be promoting its wide range of custom-made mashrabiyas, balustrades, grills, fences, light posts, furniture, windows, doors, and several other ornaments made of aluminium.

Al Esra is determined to play an important role in the region and the industry by researching the numerous innovative functions of aluminium, says a company spokesman.
For the past two decades, the use of aluminum in the building and construction industry has increased manifold because of its unrivalled performance against weather conditions, environmental cleanliness, formability, among several other factors, he says.

Al Esra claims that it pioneered the manufacture of Oriel (mashrabiya), using pure aluminium. Traditionally Oriel is made from wood, but the aluminium version puts an end to many of the problems related to maintenance painting and the treatment of wood cracks.

The spokesman said that the company has completed mashrabiyas in cast aluminium for the Madinah Municipality, and has completed more than 25 towers and multistoreyed buildings in the Madinah central area.
Construction in Saudi Arabia, especially in the past one year, has been good. There have been several projects spearheaded by the Madinah Central Development Committee and there is a good market for our aluminium products, says the spokesman.

The company, under the guidance of its director general Ayman M Samaren, has grown over the years to employ 163 trained and experienced staff at all levels, ensuring that achievable objectives are set and by careful planning of operations.

Our plant covers  12,000 sq m in Madinah. The company is well equipped with advanced machinery to efficiently process aluminium casting, carry out surface treatment, assembly, and polyester powder coating. Furthermore, we have successfully achieved the integration of high-end hardware with the latest industrial software, says the company.
