Al Bahar International Dubai, a sister concern of Lebanon-based Al Bahar Group, expects to complete the second phase of its expansion in the UAE this month with the launch of the Al Bahar Crusher in Fujairah.
The facility, which covers a 2.5 million sq m site with easy access to Ras Al Khaimah ports, is ideally located for the internal and exports markets in the Gulf, says PD Mills of Al Bahar International Dubai.
The group, which was established in Lebanon in 1975, has a number of factories and represents top-notch companies engaged in diverse activities such as contracting and construction, crushers, readymix concrete, transport, natural stone and marble, natural basalt, kerbstone, inter-lock tiles, mosaic tiles, cement tiles, cement, garden furniture, landscaping, swimming pools, stamped concrete, 3D decorative walls, and many others.
Al Bahar started its UAE operations in 2002, with the setting up of the Kaser Al Bahar unit that is specialised in decorative concrete such as stamped concrete, 3D decorative walls, interior designing, hard landscaping and concrete outdoor furniture.
Phase two of the company's expansion programme for the UAE has now been completed and work on Phase three is already under way with the Al Bahar Readymix Concrete plant under process and expected to be operational by early next year. Based in the new Dubai Investment Park near Jebel Ali, the unit will incorporate the latest technology.
Phase Four will follow immediately with the new Al Bahar Mill Plant due for construction in early 2004.
The company will introduce the Al Bahar Ready Mix and Al Bahar Crusher facilities at the Big 5 show, where it is making its second appearance.
At the show, we intend to promote a range of decorative concrete, stamped concrete, building materials, aggregate, ready mix concrete, interlock tiles and hollow blocks at hall 5 row A, next to RAK Ceramics' stand, he says.
Many factors such as, creating a brand awareness for our company in the region and seeking new clients for our wide range of products have led us to participate in this year's show. The Big 5 show 2002 was a great opportunity to introduce our company to the market in Dubai and the neighbouring emirates. It gave extensive exposure for our company, he adds.
The company is focusing on developing its identity as a company with a difference and working on achieving long-lasting relationships, according to Mills.
Commenting on the performance of the company, Mills says: We are a company that is highly experienced and reputed for its transparency, financial probity and integrity in dealings. It has been a great year for Al Bahar Lebanon and there has been a lot of excitement with the setting up of the Al Bahar International Dubai. We envisage huge growth in the coming years.
