The Big 5

Many tanks!

Balmoral's GRP tanks ... superior quality.

BALMORAL Sectional Tanks and its acquired partner Horseley Bridge Tanks will be showcasing their state-of-the-art water storage solutions at this year’s Big 5 show.

The superior quality products have been developed with the benefit of 30 years experience, resulting in the most modern and sophisticated water tanks on the market, says Colin Shaw, the company’s exports sales director.
Shaw says the company has set its sights on the Middle East market and focused its strategic development plans on servicing the region’s construction sector as demand for quality and technologically-advanced water storage solutions increases. Backed by its vast experience and knowledge of glass reinforced plastics (GRP) and sectional steel water tanks, the company has launched an aggressive market penetration drive in the Middle East to meet the increasing requirements for its industry-leading solutions.
“We are actively seeking agents in the Middle East in order to strengthen our plans for expansion and growth throughout the GCC and keep up with the current demand, locally and internationally. Working with agents throughout the region, Balmoral will ensure all clients have access to on-the-ground support,” he says.
Balmoral’s ‘climate-proof’ tanks ensure that water is stored in the most efficient and economical way. The company works with clients to ensure that they obtain the best solution and have access to Balmoral’s experience before, during and after the sales process, Shaw says.
“Exciting times lie ahead; the market may have taken a hit, however we, like many, are optimistic about the months and years ahead,” Shaw adds.
Scotland-based Balmoral Sectional Tanks is a leading single-source designer of sewage treatment plant, rainwater harvesting systems, fuel oil storage and dispensing tanks, bulk liquid and chemical storage tanks, GRP and hot press steel sectional water tanks. Balmoral offers sectional tanks, ranging from 1 cu m to 1,000 cu m in capacity, which can be pre-insulated, and erected to a height of 4 m in 1 m and 0.5 m increments.
These tanks carry the UK’s WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) approval for potable water storage and LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board) approval for fixed fire-fighting sprinkler systems. All panels are fully tested to resist pressures in excess of six times their working pressure.
Horseley Bridge Tanks is a leading manufacturer of hot press steel water tanks. The pioneer of the sectional tank principle, and with over 125 years’ experience, the company has installed tanks in a variety of global projects including the health, food, chemical processing, civil and environmental engineering sectors.
Balmoral operates to the very highest level of quality and health and safety standards, which is reflected in its certification from BSI and the British Safety Council, says the company. The company will be exhibiting at Stand UK2D66.
