DURO Dyne, which has a decade-long association with The Big 5, will promote its full line of sheet metal accessories for the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) industry in the Middle East this year.
“The Big 5 is one of the major shows for us,” says Caio Tadeu Brandao, international sales director of the US-based firm. “It has yielded excellent results for the company.”
The company has been actively selling its products in the Middle East for the past three decades and has continued to maintain its market share.
An industry leader in the HVAC line of products, Duro Dyne has been constantly innovating to address the changing needs in this evolving field, according to Brandao. The company released a whole range of new products early this year at the Ashrae (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) show.
In line with Duro Dyne’s efforts at resource conservation through the use of recycled materials, the company has produced the first ever ‘green’ connector fabric for flexible duct connector. Called Envirofab, the fabric is manufactured by reprocessing discarded or reclaimed materials and will qualify to be used in green building projects. As an additional benefit Envirofab is manufactured with a black side and a white side. When installed indoors, on ductwork incorporating ultraviolet (UV) lights for conditioned air, the white side will reflect the UV rays back into the air stream to enhance the sterilisation process. The black side will maintain the clean look of the connection from the outside.
Duro Dyne’s products include Duroseal, a fire-resistant and water-based duct closure mastic; Nova Strap, a lightweight, waterproof, airtight and high-strength design strap for hanging ducts; QSD access doors, the one-piece door design for easy alignment in duct opening; self-stick access doors; and HDJD damper, a continuous rod round damper.
Duro Dyne has its head office in New York and production facilities in Ohio, California, New York and Canada.
Duro Dyne will be present at Stand 1G01.
