TARGETING the high-rise construction sector of the market, Scanclimber will line up its products such as construction hoists, mast climbing work platforms and access platforms at The Big 5 PMV this month.
This Finnish market leader is participating for the seventh time at The Big 5, having taken up space within the PMV exhibition last year. The company considers this event a major opportunity to support distributors, according to Aamer Hammoudi, managing director of Al Nawi Group, the company’s dealer in the UAE.
The mast climbing work platforms, used in new construction projects as well as in building restoration work, are cost-efficient besides contributing to greater productivity and safety. They are used for window and panel installation, bricklaying, shipyard work and plastering.
“Mast climbing work platforms are the perfect solution for work on facades of high-rising buildings assuring a 30 per cent increase in productivity,” says a company spokesman.
The material and personnel hoists help in vertical transportation of material and people at sites. The hoists are safe and ergonomic, enabling personnel to work at the optimal height with material and tools within easy reach, reducing accident risks, increasing work efficiency and improving work conditions.
The hoists also provide all-year round weather protection, with electric outlets at platforms for power tools, eliminating the need for trailing cables or expensive distribution points.
Scanclimber, whose customers consist of rental companies (90 per cent) and end users, has dealerships in the UAE (Al Nawi Group), Germany and the UK, with its Scan-Rent group of companies located in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand.
The company has its corporate headquarters in Finland and its manufacturing facility in Poland. It has 200 employees and has a turnover of $40 million.
Scanclimber will be present at Stands C16 and F10.
