Jeddah-based Sandwich Panel Factory (SPF) is actively promoting its range of polyurethane insulation panels, which according to the company, have the lowest thermal conductivity as opposed to other insulation materials.
“Polyurethane insulation panels can be a cost-effective option to roof a variety of industrial and commercial buildings because of their enormous power saving capabilities,” says a spokesman for the company.
Despite being thin, SPF’s panels equal, and sometimes exceed the insulation capabilities of similar materials of greater thickness, the spokesman claims. In addition, the panels have outer skins of pre-painted galvanised steel and are capable of holding up the roof without any extra support.
Also the length, thickness and other technical features of these panels ensures that they are easy to modify, install, uninstall or reinstall at any other location with minimal fuss. The outer skins are coated with special paints that can withstand environmental factors such as extreme heat and humidity,” says Hasan bin Ali Al Hayas Al Ghamdee, owner of the company.
Established in 1999 in the Industrial City in Jeddah, SPF has a current daily production output of 3,000 sq m of polyurethane insulation panels of variable length and thickness with the capacity to reach up to one million sq m per year.
