Saudi Concrete Products Company (Sacep) can rightfully claim to have cornered the corniche wall market in the kingdom with projects such as the Al Khobar and Dammam corniches and, more recently, the Jubail Corniche in the Eastern Province to its credit.
That is not all – the company is now also constructing the Jeddah Corniche in the Western Province.
Another striking project which it describes as an “architectural masterpiece” is the Qateef Celebration Court, for which it supplied glassfibre reinforced concrete (GRC) products for the towers, gates, entrances and shades.
A specialist manufacturer of high-quality precast products, Sacep is set to further boost its presence in the Saudi construction market and is hoping to secure major projects in the new economic cities as well as other sites spread across the kingdom.
To drive its ambitions forward, the company has recently added some new products to its portfolio, including hollowcore slabs in thickness of 15 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm, 30 cm and 40 cm, which are manufactured using sophisticated German machinery and best concrete mix and pre-stressed steel as per international standards.
“We have also recently set up a new company in Riyadh, Construct for Construction and Contracting, which will manufacture and supply precast concrete such as double-tee slabs for beams, roofs and columns to a wide range of building projects in the kingdom,” says a company spokesperson.
Previously known as Saudi Austrian Concrete Elements Plants, Sacep has been a manufacturer of quality concrete hardscape products since 1976. With four large automated production lines which utilise special equipment designed to produce high-density concrete products in its factories at Riyadh and Jeddah, Sacep uses state-of-the-art technology and stringent quality control measures to produce the top-quality masonry units including hollowcore slabs, precast elements, walls and structures, kerbstones and corner stones, GRC panels, coloured concrete, Terrazzo and shotcrete tiles.
These products are offered a wide range of colours, styles, sizes, finishes and shapes and are manufactured to its exacting internal standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
The company now intends to open a production unit in Dammam, to facilitate deliveries to clients for projects in that specific region, while cutting down transportation costs for the contractors.
Sacep has supplied its precast concrete products to a number of residential and commercial projects such as schools, malls, markets, and universities in the private sector as well as some mega government projects which include the corniche walls in Saudi Arabia.
The company has also carried out several perimeter wall projects such as a landfill wall in Jeddah as well as the perimeter walls for the Durrat Al Khobar resort and a Pepsi Cola factory in Riyadh. Its concrete products such as interlock paving and a wide range of cement tiles, as well as Terrazzo tiles adorn a large number of private and public projects in the kingdom.
Thanks to its extensive product portfolio, Sacep has the ability to implement turnkey projects from concrete products to general finishes in its production facilities well as offering services to its clients on site, says the spokesman.
Over the years, Sacep has worked with hundreds of contractors throughout Saudi Arabia providing product knowledge and training for various projects, says the spokesman.
The company adheres to various international management and quality control systems such as the ISO 9001/2002 and is an approved supplier to Saudi Aramco. It is also an active member of the ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) and a charter member of The Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI).
While the company’’s highly trained technical team is capable of studying different projects and installing products as per requirements, its sales team offers effective and timely services to clients in the various provinces in the kingdom.
