Awal Acrylics, a leading Bahrain-based manufacturer of high-grade sanitary ware products, is currently diversifying and expanding its product portfolio to meet the requirements of a more expansive market of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries.

Our research and development department is constantly trying to design new models in our well-equipped laboratories and factories that will be give value and convenience to our customers in the region,” says Khalid Al Jasmi, a spokesperson for the company.
In line with these efforts, the company has recently commenced production of freestanding and roll-top bathtubs, available in various models and designs, which are claimed to be the first of their kind in the Middle East. This follows the recent launch of a new range of indoor spa and saunas designed for six to eight people.
Awal Acrylics has a wide product portfolio that includes a wide range of luxurious bathtubs and shower trays made from high-quality cast acrylic sheets, hydro massage systems that are available in various price packages, and steam cabins in various models in an affordable range. It also manufactures a wide range of shower doors in various sizes and attractive designs to fit any bathrooms.
Awal Acrylics was set up in the South Alba Industrial Area in Bahrain in 1991. Its factory is well-equipped with modern automatic machinery for manufacturing a wide range of acrylic bathroom products. Staffed with around 150 employees, the company manufactures products of international standard that comply with health authority requirements and are approved by Bahrain’s Ministry of Housing.
The company exports its products to more than 22 countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa. As part of its expansion strategy to widen the market and cater to increased demand for its products, the company has opened sales offices and warehouses in many cities across Saudi Arabia. Following intensive market research, the company initially opened a sales office known as Khalid Al Jasmi Trading Establishment and warehouse in Dammam in 1998, with a qualified marketing team to promote its product in Al Khobar and other areas in the Eastern province. Subsequently in 1999, another branch with a warehouse facility was opened in Riyadh, where a showroom was also opened last year, to meet the increasing demand from the Central Province.
Apart from these sales offices in Saudi Arabia, Awal also launched a new warehouse and sales office in Sharjah in 2006 as well as a new showroom in Bahrain last year. In addition, Awal also has a showroom and warehouse in Doha, Qatar, known as Jacuzzi Trading Company Doha which was opened in 2001.
Besides these sales offices and an extensive dealer network spread throughout the kingdom, the company also supplies its products to Saudi Ceramic Company, one of the largest sanitary ware suppliers in the kingdom.
