Dubai International Airport ... landmark project for Eurocon Building Industries.
Ajman-based Eurocon Building Industries is on the expansion trail having recently extended its operations to India.
The company says it has set up its Indian unit in Mumbai as Eurocon Building Systems (India) Private Limited to market and sell Alubond USA composite aluminium panels and Lafarge plasterboard systems.
Eurocon which is based at the Ajman Free Zone, is a member of Mulk Group Of Companies, a multinational group with varied business interests in construction, real estate, hotels, poultry farming and animal feed, with operations in the US, UAE and India.
"We have recently constructed a new office and showroom block in Ajman Free Zone and expansion plans of the company include setting up of a production plant for manufacturing aluminium composite panels," says managing director Saji Ul Mulk.
" We have also established our presence in Qatar and completed various projects in Doha," he adds.
Eurocon has a 50,000 sq ft factory with design, fabrication and manufacturing facilities to back up its operations. It has a production capacity of more than 100,000 sq m of fabricated cladding panels.
Eurocon's management team is headed by Mulk, who has over 20 years of Gulf experience in external cladding materials such as glass and aluminium as well as interior fit-out works like ceilings, partitions and decorative mouldings.
It says some of the major projects it has completed include landmarks such as Dubai International Airport (150,000 sq m), Safa Towers (16,000 sq m), Darwish Complex and the Ajman Chamber of Commerce Building. It is currently working on the Twin Towers (15,000 sq m) and a new service station (4,000 sq m).
The company says it is capable of undertaking projects worth up to $15 million and is also an authorised distributor and approved installer of a range of construction products. It represents a number of leading companies in Europe, Asia and the US including:
Eurocon Building Industries will be making its debut at the Big 5 this year. At Stand 7E 335 at the show, the company will exhibit aluminium composite panels from Alubond, Alucomat and Euro Metal Ceilings and Euro Moulding products.
"At the Big 5, we will be introducing to the Middle East multi-coloured chameleon aluminium composite panels, granite and marble textured aluminium panels for exterior use, complex-shaped metal ceilings and polyurethane mouldings for interior and exterior use," says Mulk.
