French plastics fittings and accessories company Girpi says its Kryoclim system offers several advantages in commercial and industrial secondary refrigeration and indirect air-conditioned systems.

The system is made of HPF, a material possessing excellent physico-chemical qualities at very low temperatures, which guarantees that Kryoclim pipes are corrosion-free, have low condensation and low coolant losses, says Girpi.

"With excellent shock resistance at low coolant temperatures, Kryoclim also ensures that systems are leak-free," the company says.

"And thanks to its light weight, ease of handling and assembly using chemical cold welding, the system can be fitted simply and quickly."

Widely used in centralised air-conditioning systems, the technique of indirect cooling is increasingly being employed in the commercial and industrial refrigeration fields.

With a wide range of pipes, with diameters ranging from 20 to 160 mm, fittings and accessories suitable for fitting to existing equipment, the Kryoclim system is suitable for all refrigeration and air-conditioning installations with indirect cooling from -30 deg C to 40 deg C using chilled water, glycols, potassium formate and several other fluids.

Girpi says it is seeking distributors for its products as part of its efforts to expand in international markets.

Girpi products and systems will be on show at the Big 5 in Dubai this month.
