The company also offers consultation services for projects and has also considerable success in producing plans for fisheries and other food-related manufacturing segments of the market.

"KTI-Plersch has a market share of more than 90 per cent in the Middle East, Africa and Europe market for concrete cooling," says a company spokesman. "There are now more than 400 plants operating in the Middle East market alone and also several larger plants operating on dam projects in Turkey, Greece, Jordan and Iran."

He continues: "Since most of the plant manufactured are in containers and mobile, the time required for their erection and commissioning is considerably reduced. All the major work is done in the factory so that the time required on site is minimum. Also, most of the components used are standard, so that in case of any downtime the parts are available locally."

KTI-Plersch has a Middle East sales and service office based in Dubai, UAE, called VIP (Various Ice Products).

"VIP is mainly involved in support and service activities for KTI-Plersch," the spokesman explains. "This gives an added advantage to customers for their service and sales support."

"KTI-Plersch has been a regular exhibitor at the Big 5 for several years.

"The Middle East market is unique in its requirements and the exhibition is an important showcase for our new products and services, which are developed every year based on our expertise with this market," the spokesman says.

"During the previous Big 5 shows, we received very good responses and our participation has helped us in getting closer to the customers in the region,'' he says.

This year too, we expect a good response and have invited more than 1,500 customers from the region. Our products will be on display at Hall 2, Stand No 2 E 67," the spokesman adds.
