Zamil Air Conditioner's (ZAC) new mini-split assembly line was recently inaugurated by Interior Minister Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud at the company's factory in Dammam.
The line is projected to manufacture over 35,000 mini-split systems per year. In accordance with the Kingdom's law and through ZAC's employment-through-training programme, the line is exclusively manned by Saudi nationals. "The fact that the assembly line is operated by Saudi nationals is a great source of pride to us in the year of our 25th anniversary," said Ahmed Al Zamil, ZAC president.
Meanwhile, the factory's latest $2 million expansion project is scheduled for completion this summer.
