UK-based manufacturer of passive fire protection products Pyroplex will once again be at this year’s Big 5 show, this time in two halls.

Its intumescent door edge seals, fire-rated sealants and fire door ancillaries, which are distributed locally by Konsource Trading will be displayed in Hall 2. New product launches this year include fire-rated door hinges and acoustic seals. Its pipe collars and other construction based fire-stopping seals will be exhibited by the company’s partner Emirates Specialities in Hall 4.
For Pyroplex, the Big 5 also represents the opportunity to strengthen brand awareness after a successful series of technical seminars conducted throughout the region during April and May.
“We are back at the Big 5 this year to capitalise on our continued expansion in the UAE and other Middle Eastern markets. The latest product launches and our new association with the well-established Emirates Specialities gives us a much broader scope with which to promote Pyroplex at the 2007 show,” says Will Turner, spokesperson for Pyroplex.
Emirates Specialities was appointed as Pyroplex construction products distributor in the UAE earlier this year. Its experience and resources in the construction sector made it ideally placed to distribute key fire safety products such as fire-rated pipe collars, pipe wraps and expansion joint seals.
“Pyroplex passive fire protection seals are a natural addition to our extensive range of construction products and we anticipate keen interest at the Big 5,” says Ian Fielder, vice president, sales and marketing, Emirates Specialities.
Over the years, Pyroplex fire door products have been used on some high profile projects including the Burj Al Arab, The Palm Jumeirah and several major contracts in the Dubai Marina.

The full range of fire protection products can be viewed in Hall 2, on Stand C73 while its pipe collars and other construction based fire-stopping seals will be exhibited by Emirates Specialities on Stand A181 in Hall 4.
