Tra Art Trading ... strong presence at expos.

Abu Dhabi-based Tra Art Trading, a specialist manufacturer of antique stone and mosaic arts for the building construction industry, is keen to leave a lasting impression on the thousands of visitors expected to arrive at the Big 5 this year, based on its success at previous editions of the trade show.

“We received a lot of positive feedback on our products from the various company representatives and trade visitors who visited our stand at the Big 5 show last year. The primary reason behind our participation at this trade show is that we see it as a platform to promote our products locally as well as internationally and form business relationships with different people around the globe,” says Behrouz Bidar, managing director of Tra Art Trading.
“At the show, we intend to promote antique stone and mosaic arts for both the domestic and the international building construction market at the Big 5 show this year. We will also put the spotlight the services we can offer in the design and construction of swimming pools for residential and commercial projects in the local market,” he adds.
Tra Art Trading, which claims to have been the first antique stone manufacturing facility in the Gulf, specialises in the manufacture of antique and royal stones, mosaic art, landscaping and architecture as well as the design, civil and electro-mechanical works of swimming pools in exclusive building projects.  Its products are low on maintenance requirements and rich in colours and variety. Equipped with its own quarry, the company’s sophisticated machinery can produce high-grade natural stones as per customer specifications in a versatile colour range and sizes ranging from 1cm by 1 cm to 60 cm by 60 cm.
Its large variety of tiles, either polished or honed, as well as a wide range of antique stone products — which have a genuine antique appearance — are extremely popular in interior and exterior works in building construction such as landscaping, walkways, kitchen, fireplaces, stairs, bathrooms, swimming pool areas and other interior and exterior applications. Its current project portfolio includes the design and construction of swimming pools using these antique stone products as well as supplying these stones to various constructions and consulting firms to be used in projects in and around the UAE.
“The demand for marble, antique and royal stone in the UAE and the region is growing at a remarkable pace. This is the reason why we established a company that would help consumers in choosing the right products and services according to their taste and requirement. What makes us different from the others? We have our own manufacturing plant as well as our own quarry. We understand the needs and demands of our customers and give them a wide variety of products to choose from,” concludes Ahmed Ali Abdulla Al Romaithi, the company chairman.
“Although our antique stones are already well-known in the domestic construction industry, we are hoping that we will capture a larger share of the market pie through the Big 5 forum this year. We are also focusing on our expansion plans and hope to set up new branches in Dubai and other Gulf countries in the near future,” says Bidar.
Established in 2005, the company has a showroom, factory and warehouse located at Mussafah Industrial Area in Abu Dhabi, staffed by around 73 employees and registers an annual turnover of $5 million.
Tra Art Trading will be present in Al Rashid Hall, Stand E541.
