Bharat Chugh Designs is a leading Indian design firm specialised in custom design and the export of handcrafted architectural elements, decorative features, embellishments and ornamental furniture and specially-commissioned works of arts, primarily in stone.
Set up by architect Bharat Chugh and his wife Shalini, the company has been committed to the revival and promotion of traditional Indian and Islamic art and craft with the creativity and remarkable quality that has been exemplified in the Taj Mahal, says a spokesman for the company.

The fountains are carved in marble or sandstones and set with coloured stones using the decorative pietra dura techniques.  Most of these floor and wall fountains are supplied with a working submersible pump. Fountains can be can be custom-designed in sizes ranging from 18 inches by 18 inches – for the interiors of a residence – to 15-ft wide or high units for villas, hotel lobbies or gardens.
The company’s stone lattice work is done in geometric and floral designs to create light effects and partitions, offering protection from the elements while allowing the passage of fresh air through the finely-carved patterns. They can be used to adorn window openings, as balustrades, railings, grills and furniture elements. These screens are sculpted from both sandstone and marble with the finish being antique or contemporary depending on the taste.
Bharat Chugh Designs also specialises in high-quality inlay for the flooring borders, medallions, and tiles choosing the best coloured stone available. Its stone carpets and central motifs are designed to add elegance to any interiors.
