Ostim Yatirim (Ostim Investment) will make its maiden appearance at the Big 5 show in a bid to promote the Ostim Organised Industrial Area of Turkey as well as its services and special line of products.

The company represents about 5,000 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) – based in the industrial area – that are engaged in various industrial sectors.
Being a first-time participant, it is eager to introduce this industrial region to prospective companies and investors from the Gulf region. At the same time, the company will be promoting its own products as well as those produced in the Ostim region, with an objective of increasing exports and eventually setting up an office in the Gulf region.
Founded in 1998 with the aim of establishing a dynamic cooperation among these SMEs and marketing their goods, the company strives to facilitate and support the companies in their business activities and helps them to sell their products in domestic and foreign markets, according to Hakan Demirkazik, foreign trade specialist at Ostim Investments.
“We offer extensive support to the SMEs based in the Ostim Organised Industrial Area. This includes support in the form of finance, better management, organisational assistance and providing relevant information. At the same time, we help these companies to establish themselves and carry on their business in world markets, and assist them in securing projects abroad,” he says.
 “Also, as the main company coordinating the activities of the industrial area, we also serve as a direct point of contact for foreign investors who wish to invest in Ostim. We bring together related domestic and foreign enterprises with similar interests and related project execution capabilities,” adds Demir-kazik.
Similarly, exhibitions are another strategy through which Ostim Investment generates opportunities for the SMEs, including organising their participation at international fairs besides exhibiting its own products.
Ostim Investment is also engaged in its own manufacturing activities with its products being sold in more than 20 countries in the world. It specialises in aluminium die-casting and manufactures spare parts of earthmoving machinery, mixers and concrete pumps, and also produces light construction machines such as power trowels. Ostim is committed to research and development, which is carried out at the Ostim Techno Park.
Being in charge of the administration of the fixed assets in the Ostim industrial area, it has its own workshop buildings – such as the METU Technopark Ostim Building, Megacentre and Cat sales and repair centre – through its construction group, to cater to the needs of Ostim industrial area.
