ACO International is a division of ACO Technologies based in the UK and is a recognised world leader in the manufacture and supply of corrosion-resistant polymer concrete and stainless steel surface drainage channels and gratings.

These systems can be used in most projects where the removal or containment of surface liquids is necessary.

ACO Technologies earlier this year received the prestigious Queens Award for Enterprise for its unique KerbDrain system.

Once again, ACO International will exhibit at the Big 5 for what will be its ninth successive year as an exhibitor at the event.

"Many new products will be exhibited at the show this year including two new ranges of polymer concrete channel systems," says Keith Lambourne, ACO International's regional director.

One, the D range, is an easy-to-install, economical and versatile product incorporating gratings to DIN Class C (250Kn). The other is the extended ACO Self range with channel widths of 165, 200 and 300 mm and Self Highline, these adding to the versatility of the popular ACO Self 100-mm-wide system.

He continues: "Also being shown for the first time will be the all-new stainless steel pipe system, ACO Pipe, a fast-track alternative to cast iron or uPVC (unplasticised polyvinylchloride) pipe systems, available in standard pipe sizes with easy-to-assemble push-on fittings.

"This range of stainless steel socketed pipes and fittings is ideal for above- and below-ground drainage applications and is manufactured in grade 304 and 316 austenitic stainless steel.

"The system is for use in the transference of most liquids including soil, waste, process and rainwater drainage but is also suitable for potable quality water.

"ACO Pipe is completely compatible with the existing range of ACO Fulbora stainless steel gullies and channels."

As in previous years, 2001 has seen ACO International successful in supplying product to many projects around the world and in opening up new markets, according to Lambourne.
