RS-20 anti-rust lubricant.
Anchor Allied Factory of the UAE will be highlighting three of its latest products at the Big 5 show.
At the event, the Sharjah-based manufacturer of adhesives and sealants will be unveiling its new spray paint, anti-rust lubricant and an epoxy that is as strong as steel, according to Ahmedali Nalwala, managing director.
"The aerosol spray paint is being manufactured at our new plant and it has already been launched in the UAE, Europe and the CIS," says Nalwala. "We have received an overwhelming response for the product as it is manufactured to international standards and it is fast replacing imported paints in the market. We are currently producing acrylic spray paint and we will shortly launch production of fluorescent and high-temperature paints."
He continues: "Anchor's RS- 20 anti-rust lubricant is a very versatile product designed for use in almost all industrial sectors, such as construction, shipbuilding and oil. It acts as a lubricant as well as anti-rusting agent and is perfect for the Middle East's climate, which is hot and humid. Corrosion is obviously a major factor in the region, since metal corrodes in humid conditions and more so in coastal regions. RS-20 is perfectly formulated for such applications.
"Anchor's new four-minute instant epoxy steel is a two-component mixture. When mixed in equal proportion, it forms a very strong resin compound that's as strong as steel.
"Anchor is looking out for distributors in the Middle East and Africa for this product which has huge potential in the DIY (do-it-yourself) hardware market."
