
Fawaz Refrigeration & Air Conditioning of the UAE is busy with projects worth nearly Dh71 million ($19.18 million), the largest of them being the Al Hassawi Commercial Center and Al Mubarak Tower being built in Sharjah.
Under a Dh31 million contract, Al Fawaz is responsible for the supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of the complete air-conditioning, electrical, telephone, PA system, fire alarm and fire fighting works and plumbing for the project, says sales manager Murthada Ahmed.
Al Fawaz is also implementing electro-mechanical works for the SKM factory in Sharjah, under a Dh13 million contract.

Fawaz Refrigeration & Air Conditioning was established in Kuwait in 1971 - as a partnership between M A Al Hassawi, Abdul Jalil Al-Baker and Osama Hussain - with the primary objective of designing, manufacturing and installing of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment in the Gulf. In line with Fawaz's expansion, a contracting and trading company was established in Sharjah, engaged in design, supply and installation of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration systems for the Gulf.
