H20 ... ideas, concepts and solutions for interiors.

Dubai-based H2O Concepts has unveiled plans for expanding its operations to the rest of the emirates with a complete portfolio of state-of-the-art office products and services for the business community, says a company spokesman.

The company, which is eager to strengthen its regional presence, also intends to launch a product range offering total office solutions including the supply and maintenance of office equipment graphic printing equipment, media and inks, he adds.
Currently, the company deals with products from world-leading manufacturers of office furniture, such as Herman Miller of the US, Eric Jorgensen from Denmark, Forster from Austria, Tarkett from France and a host of other quality interior fitting designers.
“What we offer are ideas, concepts and solutions which are inspired by your business vision, and reflected in assets that shape your working environment,” says country manager, Vahe Tuysuzian.
“H2O Concepts is all about its people. We are a team of professional and experienced designers, sales executives and management staff with international backgrounds, disciplined and well adapted to the industry we serve in. While H2O Concepts is new in the UAE market, our principals and current staff have had long-lasting relationships under different umbrellas.
“The strategic business objectives of  H2O Concepts call for strong growth over the coming few years,” he says. “New products and technologies require professional and flexible employees and employers who understand market needs and trends and are trained and motivated to work in harmony. H2O Concepts has employees who are able to support this growth and who are ambitious to develop themselves.”
“Durng our first year, we have executed a few big prestigious  projects in excess of i million ($814,000) with clients such as the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Dubai TV, Higher College of Technology, ABN Amro Bank and a number of other private institutions in UAE,” Tuysuzian adds.
The year-and-a-half old company is owned by E El Muhaideb and the Hoshan Group registered in Dubai with a branch office being set up at Abu Dhabi. Its more than 30 employees are confident they will close the year with 10 times the volume they pulled in their first year. H2O Concepts targets the mid to high-end market where customers get value for their investment. Its policy of generating employee goodwill translated into profits, when during the first six months of the current year, sales more than doubled over the same period last year. The current orders also show up as double of year-to-date achievement.
The company offers a complete portfolio of case goods, chairs and seating, system furniture, training and auditorium seating, full-height wall systems, flooring and ceiling solutions. Its services include space-planning, interior design, architectural interior finishes, installation, consultancy, maintenance and post-sale services.
At H2O Concepts, space-planning solutions remain focused on creating pleasant working environments where staff comfort, self-esteem and productivity are enhanced by the surrounding elements. The client’s needs are addressed to include future expansion while retaining value of investment.
“We believe that interior design solutions are not only based on specifications and prices, but on concepts and ideas that reflect one’s ambitions and vision,” says Tuysuzian. “A decision about the surroundings in which individuals, their colleagues or clients spend the majority of their time warrants more than simply a description of product features, benefits and prices.
“It merits a deeper consideration of what type of organisation they represent, their work or corporate culture and their vision of development in terms of expansion and flexibility to adapt to change. In short, it merits a partnership with a company – such as ourselves – which is willing to invest the time and effort to understanding these issues and translate them into assets that can inspire the employees to become a vehicle for growth, efficiency and cost-saving.”
H2O Concepts acquired the agencies for Herman Miller office furniture for Abu Dhabi and Tarkett flooring tiles early this year. Herman Miller’s award-winning Mira Chair was presented by H2O Concepts for the first time outside the US, earlier last year, he points out.
The company has also introduced Tarkett’s new flooring solution concept – ID Moduline – which is a combination of square tiles and strips to create designs that will capture one’s imagination and allow flexibility in expression for the office and shopping outlets, Tuysuzian  says.
As a relatively new entrant to the market, H2O Concepts is biding its time to get the right product mix and budget that can effectively showcase the company’s product range when the Big 5 show comes around the next year, he adds.
