Close on the heels of opening its new Dubai office last May, ACO, a leading UK-based manufacturer of drainage systems, will launch its range of newly-developed wastewater treatment systems at this year’s Big 5 show.
“The range of systems that are being launched in the Arabian Gulf will be exhibited within the UK pavilion alongside the company’s popular surface drainage systems and is directed specifically at the water industry sectors,” says ACO International’s regional director Keith Lambourne.
The new products will include the ACO’s Maripur waste water treatment system – a new modular system of four basic sizes for the purification of waste water to serve 20, 50, 100 or 200 people.
“This simple and largely automated process is easy to operate and has the ability to treat both black and grey water which then can be used for the irrigation of gardens and landscaped areas,” he explains.
Also on display will be a new range of aluminium, stainless steel and galvanised steel access covers suitable for internal and external applications.
A comprehensive range of ACO’s traditional polymer concrete and stainless steel external and internal drainage systems will also be available, together with a variety of stainless steel sanitary items.
“Over the years, ACO International – the exporting division of the UK-based ACO Technologies – has supplied corrosion-resistant polymer concrete and stainless steel surface drainage systems on several projects in the region,” says Lambourne.
“The company’s commitment to quality and constant product innovation has proved to be a winning combination in resolving problems that are inherent with the efficient removal and containment of surface liquids,” he says.
During the exhibition, ACO International intends to host a seminar for its agents from around the Gulf states to be held at its new office and warehouse facilities on the Dubai Airport Free Zone.
Germany-based ACO Guss, experts in the field of casting technology within the ACO Group, will make a repeat appearance at this year’s show as part of the German pavilion with its range of cast and ductile iron manhole covers.
