Big 5 Show

Designed for Dubai

German tile manufacturer Boizenburg will mark its debut at the Big 5 show with the launch of a range of tiles – Dubai – exclusively designed for the rapidly-growing emirate.

“This new range includes individually designed tiles depicting scenes of Dubai,” says export sales manager, Klaus Manzke.
“The technology used for developing the Dubai range, allows Boizenburg the flexibility to individually and exclusively design tiles for its customers around the world rather than choose from an already established array,” he says. “Tiles last for a very long time and customers appreciate the option of buying tiles which are exclusively designed for them.”
The decision to exhibit at the Big 5 was made by Boizenburg’s German headquarters, which emphatically signals the company’s commitment to explore the growing Middle East. “The rapidly expanding real estate market presents a good opportunity to expand our export business,” he says.
“We are confident, that the quality and innovation of Boizenburg’s products will be welcomed into the local marketplace, providing architects, interior designers and homeowners alike with stylish, elegant and quality options. This will create a niche for us in the Middle East. Our clients usually want something out of the ordinary, and that’s us,” Manzke adds.
Boizenburg was originally founded in 1903 and produced earthenware crockery. It prides itself on its history and technical know-how. A recent investment of 43.5 million euros has resulted in Boizenburg becoming one of the most-up-to-date and state-of-the-art factories in Europe.
Today, the company produces high quality, distinctly-designed home and architectural tiles, all of which strictly comply with the European DIN EN 159 and 176 standards, he points out.
Boizenburg is one of the leading tile manufacturers in Germany, employing about 250 professionals.
The company produces high quality home and architectural ceramics for both its national and international market.
The company is a member of the Industrial Association for Ceramic Tiles in Germany and is headquartered in Boizenburg/Elbe, Germany with representative offices in Benelux, Poland and the UAE.
