Savio, a landmark Italian brand for aluminium fittings across the world, will present its new and revolutionary Ribanta 5 system at the Big 5 show.

Commenting on the distinguishing qualities of its innovative tilt-and-turn window mechanism, a company spokesperson says: “On the strength of as many as eleven registered patents and after months of severe in-house tests, Ribanta 5 is now ready to revolutionise the world of tilt-and-turn windows.
“While the number ‘five’ in Ribanta 5 indicates the model of the new Ribanta system, three keywords describe it: fast, simple and sturdy,” he continues. “Fast, as it only takes three minutes to mount the system from scratch, since the link rod groove corners do not need machining as the rods are now frontally applied and not slid into the groove.
“Ribanta 5, which is available in several different capacities – 100, 130 and 170 kg – is also very sturdy. And above all, it makes assembly truly simple and intuitive. It takes only 15 minutes for an apprentice to learn how to mount the system, without risking cutting errors - precisely because cutting isn’t needed. The only tools required are two allen key screwdrivers.”
The Savio Group, a leading European manufacturer of aluminium door and window accessories, combines the experience and professional skills of three Italian companies – Alutec, Valf and TPA – and the Spanish company Finestra.
“A strong emphasis is placed on research, with a large portion of our sales revenue being allocated to research and development (approximately 3.5 per cent), which is significantly higher compared to other European companies in the sector. Our efforts have resulted in a number of innovations patented by the individual companies of our group in Italian and international markets,” says the spokesperson.
