Set up just five years ago, the UAE-based Kemsol Group has come a long way in terms of gaining the market’s goodwill and accumulating a very extensive client portfolio in a short span of time.
The company, which has been a regular participant at the Big 5, says that the exhibition is the biggest gathering of contractors, consultants, specifiers, interior designers and end-users, coming from all over the Middle East, South Asia, East Asia, Africa and Europe and provides an ideal platform for both buyers and the sellers in the industry to meet and get to know the business as well as product possibilities that exist, and any product enhancements that have taken place over the year, says Manoj Khanna, director for the company.
Established with the long-term objective of representing quality manufacturers of building material products, chemicals and solvents and media printing inks in the region, Kemsol has been channelling its efforts on securing a larger market share.
“In the current buoyant market situation, we have been fundamentally focusing on the marketing of various quality products from carefully handpicked supplier corporations the world over,” he adds.
Today, the company has not only become a major player in the UAE but is also regarded as a regional force, and is focusing its attention on spreading its reach within the other markets of the GCC. In the five years of its existence, Kemsol has set up a state-of-the-art warehousing facility at Jebel Ali, which is capable of storing 400 containers of materials.
“Despite being relatively young, Kemsol has seen an incredible growth since its establishment. The latest development is the setting up of a luxury showroom on Al Ittihad Road, diametrically opposite Al Mulla Plaza and next to the Labour Office Building in Dubai, to display its extensive product-mix, for the company’s ever-increasing interiors materials sector,” he adds.
Kemsol claims to have been instrumental in bringing several international manufacturers including the Korean giant, LG Chem, Korea. The company currently offers LG Chem’s extensive range of value-for-money and top quality product-spread that includes: PVC (polyvinyl chloride) floorings specially meant for hospitals, schools, hypermarkets, showrooms, hotels and residential applications, Hi-Sash u-PVC (un-plasticised PVC) windows and Yedazi u-PVC doors, L Greco PVC-backed wall coverings, LG carpet tiles and Series TD Floor – raised access flooring systems.
PVC Floorings
In the PVC flooring segment, Kemsol offers a wide product mix comprising specialised and commercial-grade flooring solutions in attractive colours and modern designs that can be used for a range of applications. “Since PVC flooring is a specialised product, it requires the utmost care in sub-floor preparation, and hence, the company has introduced a ‘strip (removing old PVC flooring), supply, fix and polish’ package for its projects. Kemsol boasts a reliable team of applicators, who have been specially trained, and are well-experienced to handle this portfolio,” says Khanna.
The range of speciality floorings includes:
• Rexcourt – sports floorings meant for sports stadia, multipurpose halls, and gymnasiums;
• EQ Floor – special floorings for hospitals, schools, gymnasiums, and auditoriums;
• Conductive and Static Pulse – these tiles are suitable for special areas where electrostatic discharges can damage and degrade sensitive electronic equipment such as in operation theatres in hospitals, and also in special-usage areas in the aerospace, pharmaceutical, optics and microelectronics industries.
• Decotile Series – Fine and Econo Ranges – for the hypermarket, showroom, residential apartments and villas segments, and the offices and commercial floorings category, giving customers an amazing and very extensive choice of designs and patterns.
Hi-Sash/Yedazi
Being a licensed LG u-PVC fabricator, Kemsol has also set up a facility at its Jebel Ali factory for the fabrication of u-PVC windows and doors as per the requirements of the Gulf market. Being a backward integration project for the company, the unit caters to the specific, custom-built requirements of the projects market in the Gulf region. All the required raw materials and technology being used at this fabrication unit are from LG Korea.
LG Chem’s L Greco PVC-backed wall coverings range is suited for hospitals, hotels, palaces and luxury villas, while the carpet tiles can be used on a range of commercial building projects that include: hospitals, schools and hotels. Its TD floor- raised access flooring systems are meant for commercial buildings, offices and computer rooms, schools, and laboratories.
Sanitary ware
Apart from the LG basket, Kemsol also deals in top-quality luxury-grade sanitary ware from Kerasan (Italy) and “value-for-money” RSG (Japan) sanitary ware. Between the two companies, Kemsol endeavours to offer a reasonable product package to both, the upper market segment as well as the “more-budget conscientious yet quality-focused end-user, says Khanna.
Tiles
Kemsol offer an extensive range of ceramic and porcelain vitrified tiles from Spain, which are of the highest quality and encompass an extensive product mix in terms of colours, styles and designing from the glazed to the matte to the rustic finishes. Fanal offers a modern and classy flooring option aimed at hi-rise buildings as well as villas and commercial buildings.
Showroom
Kemsol’s latest expansion is its luxury showroom at Al Ittihad Road, Dubai where it has put on display its entire product-mix. Khanna is confident that all customers looking for interior/construction materials will be able to find a product of their choice at this showroom
The showroom is backed by Kemsol trained and experienced executives – and the highest levels of services and timely deliveries – to assist clients in making the correct choice of product, and always at the most reasonable cost” Khanna concludes.
