The well-diversified Tannah United Company for Trading, Industry and Contracting will debut at the Big 5 later this year with its wide range of products and services.

Says general manager Hany Al Hedaithy: “The Big 5 Show is a very important show in the Gulf region, with several multinational companies arriving at Dubai to promote their products. The show provides a suitable platform for companies to promote their products, while at the same time, work on opening new markets in the markets of the GCC.
“This being our first year at the exhibition, we intend to promote ourselves as a manufacturer of wooden kitchen and vanity cabinets, built-in-closets, residential doors and other wooden works. At the show, we are planning to introduce new products that will be targeted at newer markets,” he adds.
Elaborating on developments within the company’s plans, he says: “Tannah has embarked on several programmes and techniques to enhance the quality of its products and services, through a greater focus on research and development. We are also introducing new techniques in the manufacture of products.”
“We are looking at expanding our manufacturing capacities for our diverse product range. The company also has ambitious plans of expanding its operations in the newer markets and intends to open up new offices in the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain.”
Commenting on the business in Saudi Arabia, he says: “The domestic market in the kingdom is highly competitive. But in our line of specialisation we pride in being the market leaders both in terms of quality and services we render to our clients. We expect to see a 10 to 15 per cent growth in business this year over what we have achieved last year.”
Established in 1966, Tannah United Company has its head office and factory in Riyadh. The company also has branches in Jeddah and Dammam. “We attribute our success to the trust our clients place in our quality products, which are backed by the close attention provided by friendly, expert staff,” says Hedaithy.
The medium-sized company, which has separate manufacturing, trading and contracting operations, with a staff strength of 170 personnel boasts a turnover of $5 million.
The company’s manufacturing division produces a range of products that include wooden kitchen and vanity cabinets, bedroom sets, sofa sets, dining room sets, beds, closets, chairs, wall units, residential doors and other wooden works.
The trading division of the firm deals in residential and office furniture, building materials and electric and electronic supplies. The contracting division undertakes road construction and electrical works.
Tannah has executed projects of varying sizes in the government, private, and general sectors in Saudi Arabia and maintains that the major markets to look for in the immediate future are those in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Tannah United will be present at Stand No C-12 at the Big 5 Show.
