Two leaders in their respective segments – Saudi Arabia-based Raghadan Paint Company and marble and special effects paint manufacturer San Marco of Italy – will team up at this year’s The Big 5 to not only put up a proud display of their products.

According to Raghadan sales and marketing director Dr Hisham Ali, San Marco technical manager will demonstrate new techniques of marble and special effects paints, which is now highly popular in the market.
Raghadan, which is a regular participant at all the major exhibitions in the region, has also made its presence felt at 10 of the leading international decor and building exhibitions in the Gulf and the Arab world this year alone.
Says Ali: Apart from the Big 5 that we are looking forward to eagerly, the company has participated in exhibitions held in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Libya, and Kenya to show our new unique paint products to our valued customers wherever they are.”
Elaborating on the expansion programmes and the other plans of the company, he says: “Raghadan has recently embarked upon an ambitious expansion programme that has involved the opening of new factory facilities and the expansion of existing ones as well as appointing agents in the region. Over the same period, the company has also appointed agents in Syria, Bahrain, Sudan, Kuwait, Yemen and Kenya as part of its plan.
“The Syrian agent is now building what will be one of the largest paint showrooms in the world covering an area of 3,000 sq m in Damascus.”
Established in 1974, Raghadan boasts of a multinational workforce of 1,000 employees and has business interests that cover the sectors of manufacturing, distribution, import, export, and supply and application of paints, says Dr Ali.
Raghadan claims to be the largest indigenous paint manufacturer in the Arab world with a network of three major paint factories in Riyadh and Cairo, six paint companies in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Jordan and Egypt, a regional office in London, 15 branches, 20 agents and 500 distributors.
The company is also the official paint supplier and applicator for the royal families of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain and has worked in collaboration with top contractors in the kingdom, he adds.
“The company’s growth over the years has been achieved through the dedication, hard work and positive outlook of all its founding members. We have been making sure that we provide the best quality and customer service at the most competitive prices,” says Dr Ali.
Raghadan will be present at Stand 5F259 in Hall 5.
