In an attempt to boost exports in the Middle East and further consolidate its brand name in the region, Hira Group of Companies will be displaying an extensive product-mix that includes adhesive tapes, industrial fans, domestic fans, clamps and ducting accessories at this year’s Big 5 show.
Being a regular participant at the region’s premier construction show, Hira group has many reasons to reinforce its presence at the show. “We will use the show to emphasise on the superior manufacturing capabilities of the Hira Group,” says company spokesman Manish Hira. “We are looking to capitalise on the opportunities offered by the construction boom in the GCC region, especially the UAE. Already, we have expanded and diversified and are looking to boost export sales while creating greater awareness of our brands. We also wish to meet new clients and exploring new business avenues,” he adds.
The company offers Diamond adhesive tapes, Dynair industrial fans, Elicent domestic fans and Diamond clamps.
The group, which has experienced a phenomenal growth over the years, continues to concentrate on improving domestic business besides catering to the export markets in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Europe and Africa. With the increased demand, the company has recently doubled its production capabilities, acquired new plants and formed joint ventures.
Hira Group started its operation in the UAE in 1980 when Ramesh Hira company ventured into the specialised electromechanical business, by supplying high-quality products used in ventilations, air conditioning and plumbing. The company’s range of products not only gained a reputation in the UAE market but also came to be specified in major projects across the GCC.
Hira Industries, a sister concern of the Ramesh Hira, was formed in 2002 at Jebel Ali Free Zone to specialise in the manufacture of rubber-moulded and extruded products. This fully-automated rubber plant has the capability to produce all types of rubber products, that meet the requirements of the customer.
“With well-experienced production and sales staff, the company has undertaken the manufacturing at its local manufacturing plant many of the products that were imported into the UAE. With an established reputation as a quality manufacturer, these products are now being exported all over the world,” Hira says.
Hira Industries also specialises in the manufacture of specialty adhesive tapes. Hira, which has been active in the trading and value addition of adhesive tapes since 1985, has acquired a new coating plant in Al Quoz, enabling the company to coat many speciality adhesive tapes. The products made by Hira Industries are now being sent to markets in Middle East, Africa and Europe.
Another addition to Hira’s fold of companies is Hira Arosio Tech. Based in Pune, India, this 50-50 joint venture between Hira and Arosio companies manufactures air handling units accessories and also handles the distribution for many of the leading air-conditioning brands in India.
Just last year, Hira has added one more company to its group – Dynair Gulf. This new establishment is a joint venture between Hira and Maico Holdings – one of the largest producers of ventilation fans in Germany. Established as a free zone company, Dynair Gulf manufactures various types of industrial fans in Dubai and exports them all over the Middle East, Africa, India and Europe.
“Our participation at this year’s Big 5 Show is more significant as we are going there as a diverse group with a variety of products to offer. We exhibit every year and have always managed to get positive results. This year we are hoping to do better than the previous years as we have a lot more products to display including the brand new Diamond Adhesive Tapes,” Hira explains.
“We are expanding, keeping the future demands in mind and we intend to add more manufacturing units to our portfolio,” he concludes.
The company’s stand at the Big 5 is 1A16.
