The Big 5 Show

Wide range

Trimo offers a wide range of cladding systems.

Trimo, a leading European solutions provider and supplier of non-combustible cladding systems for both steel and concrete building systems and quick assembly containers, will put on display its wide range of complete solutions and systems at the Big 5.

Established in 1961, Trimo has over 40 years of experience in the engineering, manufacturing and assembly of non-combustible cladding systems spanning retail, industrial, office, leisure, residential, airport and other buildings.
“With this experience, the company has grown rapidly and is now recognised as one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of thermal insulated/fire-rated roofing and façade panels, as well as build-up containers,” says a spokesman for the company.
“All products are fire-resistant, thermal-insulated panels filled with mineral wool and have been tested and approved to all major European standards including ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:1996 and OHSAS 18001 as well as FM and LPCB,” he adds.

Complete solutions
Trimo offers complete solutions in the form of Trimoterm fireproof roof and façade panels. Its façade and partition walls range includes four products: Trimoterm FTV, Trimoterm FTV Invisio, Trimoterm FTV Gladio, Trimoterm FTV Multi Vario; and under the roofing segment, the company offers its Trimoterm SNV fireproof panels.
Elaborating on its fireproof panels, the spokesman says: “Accomplished in form and made from carefully selected materials that ensure excellent technical properties, Trimoterm fireproof panels are made of two profiled, both sided galvanised and painted metal sheets with an insulating core made from non-combustible laminated mineral wool of class A1. All three layers represent a compact fireproof sandwich element.
“Trimoterm FTV fireproof panels are used for a wide range of external façade cladding, internal partition walls, firewalls and ceilings for leisure, commercial, industrial, hygienic and other facilities. Panels can be installed in either a vertical or horizontal orientation.”
The company’s existing and well-established construction systems have been upgraded by including invisible fixing façade panel – Trimoterm FTV Invisio, which combines an aesthetic finish with excellent technical properties. All fixing elements are incorporated in the panel joint and are therefore not visible after assembly, the spokesman explains.
Trimo’s Trimoterm FTV Gladio range of facade panels is optically flat, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of buildings. “Such a level of flatness has been possible because the visible side of metal sheet of the panel is manufactured using a special high-technology process that ensures an optimal flat surface,” he says.
Trimoterm SNV fireproof roof panels are described as being an excellent solution for the performance of roofs with slope for business buildings, centres, cultural and industrial buildings. They are mainly used for roof cladding, but can also be also used for the wall cladding.
Innovation
“Trimo is committed to continually developing products and processes, which contribute to higher added value. We work with suppliers to develop new materials, and work with customers to realise new ideas and individual solutions,” says the spokesman.
He continues: “Facade panels Trimoterm FTV MultiVario are unique in the world market. More than 60 possible combinations of the enlarged micro profile are available that allow the architect the ultimate freedom of expression and the ability to design buildings of true individual character. For its innovativeness with the MultiVario façade panel, the company has been awarded recognition at the recently-concluded BAU 2005 fair in Munich, Germany.
“The TrimoRaster is a new modular façade made of fireproof sandwich panels with an emphasised joint on all four sides. The system unites almost all the relevant functional advantages of high-quality façade panels with top aesthetic design and is available in various sizes and colours.”

Containers
Trimo Containers are modular buildings used for offices, accommodation and other purposes. The flexibility of Trimo solutions does not compromise on the essential such as fire protection, sound insulation or thermal insulation, the spokesman points out.
“They can be used as independent stand-alone units, or can be connected together in large compound facilities, horizontally in longitudinal and transverse directions, or in floors,” he adds.
Trimo Containers offer several benefits that include:
• Flexibility of dimensions to suit requirements;
• They are composed of non-flammable and environmentally-friendly materials (container panels are filled with non-combustible mineral wool);
• They are available in a range of colour options (according to RAL scale); and
• Offers quick delivery and installation.
Trimo’s impressive client portfolio includes many well-known international companies from around the world such as Bovis Land Lease, DaimlerChrysler, BMW, Ikea, Nestlé, Masterfoods, Continental, Airbus and Agip.
“We also offer expert technical advice on all projects, small or large,” says the spokesman.
“Our philosophy is to use our knowledge and experience, together with our excellent products and services, to meet or even exceed the client’s expectations. We believe in innovation and are confident that our products will open up new design and construction possibilities for the most individual projects, heralding a whole era of new and exciting architectural solutions,” he concludes.
Trimo will be exhibiting at Stand PH239, Hall 5-7.
