Buoyed by the good response and the deals made during its participation at previous Big 5 shows, Turkish bath cabinets and kitchen furniture manufacturer SRS Mobilya Dekorasyon returns to the expo this year with a new range of top-of-the-line teak and stone products targeted at interior designers, specifiers and contractors from the Middle East and other global markets.

The company is optimistic about making further gains this year. “We feel that the Big 5 is a well-organised platform for us to showcase our products and to meet other companies involved in the same field from around the world. It will, at the same time, help us to spread to new markets within the GCC,” says Sukran Gonulsok, a spokesperson for the company.
SRS will also be on the look out for agents in the region.
SRS, which mainly focuses on wooden bathroom cabinets and kitchen furniture as well as renovation work on multi-storey buildings, has designed some new products that will be exhibited at the show.
The company has seen its business grow considerably over recent years and has doubled its sales figures this year compared to last year.
“With our main focus being on the export market, we are planning to double our export figures within a year. Business in the domestic sector too has been looking up as we are now undertaking specialty projects such as hotel renovation,” he adds.
Established in Istanbul in 1990, the company has executed a number of projects of varying sizes in the private and general sectors all over Turkey.
“One of the more significant developments within the company over the last year has been the expansion of our production lines incorporating new CNC technologies. The company has plans of making further inroads into potential markets in the Gulf through acquiring new agencies for the distribution of its product lines,” he says.
“Given the abundance of various types of construction projects being developed in the Gulf – involving luxury interiors for the residential and commercial sectors – SRS remains optimistic of making further gains this year in the export market,” he concludes.
