SDC offers benefits in terms of economy, ecology and ergonomics:
• SDC saves on cement and permits installation without vibration.
The process is easy enough to be handled by one operator, which additionally saves up to 40 per cent of work time. This increases placing productivity by up to five times.
• SDC offers ecological benefits, as a lower percentage of fines (such as cement), is used, thus reducing CO2 (carbon dioxide)emissions. As the concrete is highly fluid, it embeds the reinforcement perfectly, giving it optimum protection against corrosion.
• As the concrete does not need to be vibrated, there is no noise and no health-hazardous vibrations for workers.
