Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe), a leader in construction machinery industries, has invested in a new comprehensive warehouse for machines, spares and training in Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza).

“The establishment of the Middle East Centre is in line with the company's commitment to improve its presence in the regional market,” said Michijiro Kikawa, president and CEO of Hitachi Construction Machinery. “Hitachi's long-term commitment for the industry is manifested in its worldwide 20 per cent increase in production capacity year-on-year, which is the starting point for nurturing solid partnerships.”
H Isshiki, general manager of Hitachi Constructions Machinery Europe-Middle East Centre said: “The new facility will become a core of synthesising major objectives to achieve the targets for 2011. The company is determined to keep its commitment to provide with the highest standards of quality and products to the local markets.” Isshiki said.
“Hitachi's three core objectives are to increase market-share in its product lines, bring about prompt after-sale service and maintenance, and to consolidate regional strength of sales, starting with the introduction of the most advanced and environmentally-friendly Excavator ZAXIS Dash 3 series.
“For the first time in the Middle East, Hitachi, as a Japanese manufacturer of construction machinery, will present a wider range of the state-of-the-art machinery, along with own warehouse of spares and equipment, and training facility that will be readily available to fulfil the demand from local customers,” he concluded.
