
Fatima International, a leading developer of commercial office towers, has awarded the construction contract worth Dh125 million ($30 million) for its freehold commercial office tower, “IT Plaza” at Dubai Silicon Oasis to Sobha Contracting, a leading construction firm in India and the Middle East.
With the immediate start of construction, IT Plaza is planned to be ready for delivery to the owners by July 2008.
Designed by National Engineering Bureau, the project will feature one of the tallest atrium in Dubai, with a height of 65 m.
The shoring contract for the project has been carried out by Dutch Foundation company.
IT Plaza is a ground-plus-14-storey being built on an area covering over 72,000 sq ft. The building consists of 100,000 sq ft shopping area that will house 70 outlets, a multi-cuisine food court, a café lounge, a fully-equipped gymnasium, a health club and a parking facility for over 500 cars.
