Union Properties is embarking on a Dh650 million ($117.1 million) integrated community village project, Green Community, at the Dubai Investment Park in the UAE.
The project is due for completion in 2002.
Green Community will have 700 residential units, a shopping mall, gas station, hotel, cinema, a health club and other facilities.
Union Properties is also carrying out five other major projects:
The Dh120 million SkyWalk Towers which will be connected by a bridge. Construction work is well under way and will be completed next year; A Dh150 million residential high-rise, The Tower, being built next to Emirates Towers; The Dh60 million Union House, a 12-storey building which is nearing completion near the Dubai Creek and Golf Club; A Dh55 million four-storey residential building in Bur Dubai; and The Dh10 million Nad Rashid 16-villa compound.
