Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) has signed a $12 million deal with Japan Gasoline Corporation (JGC) to design and build a kerosene unit within its refinery in Bahrain. Work is expected to be completed by the end of 2001. The project is part of Bapco's keromerox plant which is expected to cost around $29.5 million and is to be financed by the government.
