VarioCond ... selective air-conditioning.

German manufacturer of air-conditioning systems – BerlinerLuft Technik – will promote its new central air-conditioning and ventilation system VarioCond at this year’s Big 5.

The system represents the new generation of selective air-conditioning equipment.  VarioCond means a selective material configuration.  And true to its name – owing to the device’s modular design, – VarioCond’s functional parts may be assembled according to the customer’s individual requirements. The self-supporting frame system is available in aluminium and galvanized steel as well as in stainless steel. The compact design of the VarioCond allows it to remain dimensionally stable even under high pressures, says Tanja Singer from the company’s marketing department.
The new system meets the hygienic requirements for air-conditioning equipment including the VDI Guidelines 6022 Sheets 1 and 3 Hygienische Anforderungen an raumlufttechnische Geräte (Hygienic requirements for air-conditioning equipment). The type-tested device also complies with the requirements of other regulations, such as the VDI Guidelines 3803, DIN 1946 Parts 2 and 4, and the corresponding European standards, she adds.
VarioCond – which is available equipped with an integrated direct evaporator cooling system, a no-frost system and process measuring and control switch cabinet – covers a volume flow range of 1,100 cu m/h up to 120,000 cu m/h. Initiation of the plug-in device is performed by BerlinerLuft staff specially qualified for the process, says Singer.
Turning to the Big 5, Singer says one of the key reasons for participating in the show is that the rapidly-growing markets of the Middle East have opened up good opportunities for growth for German companies.
“Due to the stagnation in the German market, we do not expect growth for the next few years, but we do foresee ample opportunities for growth in the building industry and building materials markets of the Middle East for the next 10 years. We have planned some ambitious overseas expansions over the next five years.
“Business was good last year and we hope to continue on the same growth pattern.”
The company is currently expanding its air-handling units (AHU) plant in southern Germany to include a new production unit covering an area of 2,000 sq m.
Meanwhile, its manufacturing facility in Dubai is expected to launch production of ventilation components of the company very soon. Its representative in the UAE is Paul Weil Company.
Headquartered in Berlin, the BerlinerLuft Group, which was established in 1990, operates at 10 locations in Germany, Poland, and Brazil and at new facilities in Qatar and Dubai.
Certified by the German DIN EN ISO 9001 standards, the layouts and design standards of its products are based on the regulations of the Eurovent Certification AHU No. 9903010, says Singer.
With a 600 strong workforce, the company has been generating a turnover of $85 million.
The company’s expertise extends to air and climate technology, especially air conduction, distribution and conditioning. In addition, it has also strengthened its position in innovative concepts, while modern and flexible logistics achieve a high degree of service.
The company’s product range includes: round and square duct systems; air inlet and outlet grilles; swirl outlets; ventilation valves; central air conditioning and ventilation systems; hygienic compact air conditioning equipment; noise control systems and process air systems.
At the Big 5 show, BerlinerLuft will be present at Hall 1, Stand 1E22.
