
Leading French manufacturer of hardware and accessories for the refrigeration industry Fermod, will bring its wide range of products to this year's Big 5 show in a bid to secure a niche in this specialist market.
“The Big 5 show is an ideal platform for reaching the important decision-makers in the refrigeration industry in the Middle East region,” says Marie-Noelle Azar of Fermods Middle East Sales Office in Beirut, Lebanon.
The company will showcase its entire production range that includes: fasteners, strikes, gaskets, automatic latches, hinges, systems for sliding doors of cold rooms, locking elements, pressure relief valves, PVC (polyvinyl chloride) curtains, and shelving systems.
Fermod has been involved in the design, manufacture and sale of hardware and accessories for the refrigeration industry since it was established in 1934 and is considered to be a leader in the field of hardware and accessories.
Headquartered in Paris, the company has two manufacturing units located in Senlis and Creil, 60 km to the north of Paris.
The company's wide range of products include:
• Hinges and fasteners for coldrooms involving overlapping and inset doors in a choice of models;
• A complete range of automatic hinges and latches for small doors;
• A complete range of Fermatic systems for sliding doors from 80 to 400 kg (manual or automatic) available in anodised aluminium, treated steel or stainless steel;
• Fermostock shelving system in anodised aluminium with removable shelves in polyethylene or anodised aluminium, able to withstanding temperatures down to minus 30 deg C;
• Pressure valves including Valve 2200 (patented), which balances internal and external pressures of coldrooms through venting; and Valve 2145, a small valve for small coldrooms (30 cu m maximum);
• Fermoflex PVC flexible doors comprising a PVC panel and molded polyester frame. They have a double action spring and stainless or galvanized steel support; as well as stripped curtains, supplied fixed or swinging; and
• Airtight drawers for underbar counters and airtight small doors for underbar counters.
The company exports more than 50 per cent of its production to about 100 countries all over the world trough a network of subsidiaries, licensees and distributors.
