In a bid to expand its presence in the fast-growing market of the region, Turkish manufacturer and supplier of building materials, Asteknik Engineering, has recently submitted an offer to Dubai Festival City (DFC) for expansion profiles through the company’s partner in Dubai.

The company, which is making its debut at the Big 5 show this year, will bring to the show, a range of products that include: decoration and expansion joint profiles, door cover trims, carpet joint trims, carpet pinching sills, level difference trims, edge profiles for carpet, square edges for parquet, stair nosings, anti-slip strips, skirtings, corner guards, magnetic door cover trims, finishing profiles for ceramic, says export manager Engin Bereketlioglu.
It is the importance of the Middle East market and the huge attendance for the Big 5, both in terms of participants and visitors, which have prompted us to arrive at the show this year, says Bereketlioglu.
Established in 1985, Asteknik Muhendislik Yapi Ve Yalitim Malzemeleri Tic Ve Taahhut is headquartered in Lebanon and has over the years expanded its area of operations to include the Balkan, North African and CIS countries.
“Business is growing this year, when compared to last year, and we are planning to increase our production capacity for aluminium profiles and invest for production of some specific materials in Turkey,” says Bereketlioglu.
With a 35-member staff, the company supplies the local and regional construction sector with a broad range of products that are manufactured locally or imported from different European countries.
