

Intermass Engineering and Contracting has won the main contract for Damac’s Lago Vista project coming up at International Media production Zone (IMPZ).
The project, which will be completed by September 2009, includes two towers with 21 floors and the third with 24.
“We have completed the excavation of raft foundations and shoring with the main road,” says Peter Riddoch, CEO at Damac Properties. “This project at IMPZ will be built to the highest construction standards and offering the latest in living standards.”
Situated on the Emirates Road, the IMPZ is in close proximity to the Jebel Ali Port and the Jebel Ali Airport City, a unique free zone incorporating a vast array of residential, industrial, commercial and community service projects. The project’s prestigious location – IMPZ – extends a sophisticated lifestyle with unique facilities including in-campus transportation, medical centre, schools, hotels, shopping centres, restaurants, amphitheatre, sports grounds and full-fledged fitness clubs.
Spread across one million sq ft, the project comes with a mixture of 696 studios, 36 one-bed and 264 two-bed luxurious apartments and retail on the ground level. The project offers a full range of leisure facilities including health club, gym, sauna, steam, spa baths, tennis courts, children playground including a barbeque area.
Damac has also announced the launch of its Capital Bay Towers, a commercial development in the heart of Business Bay.
The two 19-storey towers that complement each other, will feature state-of-the-art office spaces as well as retail and recreational facilities that promise to make Capital Bay Towers one of the most-sought after corporate addresses.
