Jotun in Saudi Arabia is driving home the message that its paints are simply the best, through a series of seminars innovatively titled 'Seeing is Jotun'.

The first of these seminars was held recently by Jotun Saudi Company Limited (JSCL) at the Marriott Hotel in Jeddah and drove home the fact that the paint manufacturer was serious about enhancing customer awareness.

''The seminar - the first of its kind in the region - focused on educating the 400-plus delegates on the quality of the products manufactured by the company and emphasised the commitment of the company in continually improving quality, both in terms of products and services,'' says a company spokesman.

JSCL general manager Tor Johansen told the large delegation of consultants, engineers, and contractors that the seminars were aimed at boosting awareness on product quality.
''Seeing is Jotun' is a concept to educate the market about the high quality of Jotun's products and services,' he explained.

Johansen also reiterated Jotun's commitment for quality and excellence in service. 'In a short span of time, JSCL  has achieved  laudable growth and has shown its commitment towards being innovative and also providing quality products,'' he said. ''We know this market and know what solutions best suit it. We will continue working towards better services in terms of providing solutions and technical assistance. Customers should look for quality now that they know where they can find it.'

The seminar included live demonstrations of paint applications by experts from JSCL that showcased the wide variety of paints on offer.
The seminar showed how JSCL was keeping up with the pace of changing trends and lifestyles, and also its ability to translate thoughts into action.
It also provided a venue for the delegates to mingle with the engineers of the JSCL and have a closer look at the products and solutions offered by the company.
''The live demonstrations generated keen interest within the delegates who were eager to know more about Jotun and the variety of products the company could offer,'' the spokesman said.

'They are imitating the variations in marble and that's a fantastic work that they are doing. The company has good products and we are definitely going to try it,' said Zaher Kishi, an architect and a specialist in the marble industry.

Impressed by the demonstrations, an architect from the Kingdom said: 'Jotun seems to have an excellent range of products and now seeing it live, I feel it's time to shift to Jotun.'
All through, Jotun's ability to deliver the right product at the right time, has stemmed from intensive research both at its local base and at its parent company in Norway, according to the spokesman.

'Although I have been using different paints for years for my projects, I have never come across something as unique and inspiring as Jotun paints. The range speaks of Jotun's research and expertise in the paint industry,' added Fakhre Alam, an architect  at the seminar.

JSCL has been catering to the Saudi market for close to two decades, and today it ranks among the top companies in the Kingdom. The company's commitment to the Saudi market is apparent with the impressive list of projects in its portfolio.

The company has been servicing some of the big clients in the country as well as those outside. The Kingdom Centre in Riyadh is one of JSCL's masterpieces. Apart from this, the company has also been associated with several other projects for Zamil Steel, Hadeed expansion, Chevron, and Petrokemya, in the recent past.

The next seminar in the series will be held in Yanbu, followed by another in Dammam. The series, that is to continue for the next couple of months, will conclude in the capital Riyadh.
