Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin AbdulAziz Alsaud, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), has signed a deal to expand Kingdom City, a residential compound in Riyadh.

The contract was signed between Kingdom City's Real-Estate Investment Company Limited, headed by its chairman Prince Alwaleed, and a national company specialised in real-estate.

The expansion project, designed to meet the increasing demands for residential units in Kingdom City, entails developing a 4,300 sq m area to host residential units, each on an area of 120 sq m. Each unit consists of one floor, two bedrooms, a private garden, parking space, and other features.

The expected completion date of the expansion project is mid-November of this year.

Kingdom City, which is situated on the outskirts of Riyadh along Takassussi road and close to Kingdom Hospital and Kingdom Schools, currently has 330 units.
