AL Redwan Engineering & Contracting Company, one of Saudi Arabia's leading construction companies, is currently handling projects worth more than SR600 million ($160 million).

Since its launch two decades ago as part of Al Redwan Holding Company, this ISO 9002-certified firm has completed projects worth more than SR2.5 billion in various cities throughout the Kingdom. Each project is assigned its own administration and accounting unit supported by the departments of the company to provide immediate client liaison and quality assurance.

Al Redwan Engineering & Contracting utilises modern management techniques and state-of-the-art computer technology to coordinate its operations. It is supported by highly-qualified engineering specialists in projects evaluation, cost analysis, materials, procurement and project management.

It was one of the few Saudi Arabian companies chosen to construct the prestigious urban area surrounding the Grand Mosque in Makkah, according to Abdul Halim Bin Saidan, director, planning and development.

Some of the many projects it has completed in Madinah and Makkah include Gosi (General Organisation of Social Insurance) Buildings 1 and 2, Al Shawi and Al Ahmadi residential and commercial buildings, Hotel Taiba Sheraton as well as the Mina tent project.

Al Redwan says it has developed a concept of construction and maintenance which is applied to all projects to create a long-term bond with its clients, to ensure continued satisfaction.

"Our success is built on ensuring client support and trust and we will continue to exert every effort to serve our clients in the construction field," says Bin Saidan.
