Topstone is good to look at as well as being strong and durable.

Riyadh-based Al Romaizan Factory for Solid Surfaces is planning to explore new market opportunities and improve already impressive levels of customer satisfaction, according to a top company official.

The company is also looking to sustain strong business growth which has been a feature of the past few years, says Mohammed Akbar Omar Khan, deputy general manager, sales and marketing.

"The prospects for the future seem bright, although socio-economic factors may also affect growth," he explains.

The company manufactures and installs solid surface materials, both in sheet form and as sinks/bowls, in local and international markets, using highly qualified staff to meet exacting consumer needs. As well as manufacturing facilities in Riyadh's Second Industrial City, Al Romaizan has a design centre which helps provide the consumer with suggestions on unique new designs, as well as branch offices in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Qassim and Madinah.

The company has recently expanded its facilities by adding new machinery. Al Romaizan has also boosted the range of colours it offers for its solid surface materials.

"The construction sector in Saudi Arabia has come on in leaps and bounds over the past few years, and is increasingly integrating both function and aesthetic appeal into products," he points out.

Hence Al Romaizan's Topstone product, a versatile, durable, hygienic and aesthetic product, which is supplied to the construction industry in Saudi Arabia and further afield, is gaining wider acceptance. In providing Topstone, the company provides service and solutions which, says Khan, are unrivalled, and part of a company mission to make the product a name synonymous with solid surfaces.

Representing the cutting edge of product development, Topstone is a homogenous material, so it is resistant to random impacts and cracks are easily repaired without a trace. It is also non-porous, so will not absorb or react with many household chemicals.

This solid, seamless and hygienic product is ideal for use in kitchens and hospitals, as it prevents the growth of bacteria and the accumulation of dirt. Topstone is available in a wide range of harmonised colours, offering a variety of designs. It also blends and coordinates well with other materials such as wood and copper, according to the company.

Other applications include restaurants, where Topstone's elegance and high performance have gained the trust of some of the biggest names in the food business; and in showrooms, where its lightweight properties add an artistic touch to any horizontal use.

Topstone has been used on some major projects in Saudi Arabia in the last year, including: King Faisal Specialised Hospital Riyadh; Al Ahsa General Hospital; Debenhams showroom, Kingdom Centre, Riyadh; Al Madinah Airport departure terminal, Madinah; King Abdulaziz University Dental School, Jeddah (wall and partitition cladding of about 100 clinics); King Abdulaziz University Hospital, Jeddah; King Khaled Hospital National Guard, Jeddah; Al Andalus National School, Jeddah; and numerous restaurants throughout the Kingdom, including Hardees and KFC.

As well as its own offices in Saudi Arabia, Al Romaizan has a number of distributors elsewhere in the Kingdom and throughout the GCC and Europe, and, with its wide reach and quality product on offer, the company now looks certain to enhance its growing reputation gained since its establishment 10 years ago.
