RIYADH-based Dry Mortar Company (DMC) combines German ingenuity with the highest quality materials to manufacture innovative pre-mixed mortars specially developed for Middle East conditions, many of which will be promoted at Saudi Build next month.

Its newest product – the DMC Insulation Render HR50 – is a new thermal and sound insulation in the form of a sprayable render. This latest technology in insulating renders, offers seamless spray-on heat and sound insulation with outstanding properties.

“HR50 is a pure mineral system, completely non-combustible, humidity-resistant and 100 per cent solvent-free,” says a spokesman for DMC, adding that it can be used to insulate all surfaces, walls, columns, ceilings, roofs, even trafficable areas such as terraces and balconies in both new and old buildings.

Made with post-consumer recycled glass, HR50 is lightweight yet extremely pressure stable and completely safe to apply, use and recycle.

“With insulation render HR50, savings start from the beginning and continue for the entire life of the building,” he says. “Reduced weight in wall construction lessens the demand for heavier engineering solutions as well as maintenance costs. And protection of the building is ensured by lowering thermal loads, reduced moisture content in walls and reduced risk of concrete corrosion. At the same time, energy demand as well as the size of the air-conditioning units is substantially reduced, which means low carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and a much smaller energy bill.”

In addition to the HR50, DMC also offers a complete wall system, from textured to smooth finishes, integrated insulation and more than 1,500 colours. All products are pre-mixed to ensure spray application and world-leading quality.

DMC pre-mixed renders and mortars combine natural materials and application technology for optimum quality, providing excellent adhesion, workability, durability and resistance to cracking. They are formulated to be used with the most advanced spray machine technology and equipment for maximum efficiency and productivity on any project size, says the spokesman.

At Saudi Build, DMC will display its system for spray application of renders and mortars and product range of natural renders, mortars and paints.

DMC products revolutionise the way mortar is used in the Middle East. They promise greater efficiency and productivity being ready to use, consistent in quality, applicator friendly, while ensuring reduced water consumption, easy clean up and cleaning work sites. They are mineral based, fire resistant, breathable and save energy, he says.

The products work equally well stand-alone but, in combination, they create a complete process from blocklaying mortars, renders, thermal and acoustic insulation through to a choice of textured finishes and pure mineral paints in a range of more than 1,000 beautiful colours, the spokesman adds.

Products are formulated for hand-mixing application, machine mixing or machine spraying with DMC on-site materials handling technology. Only water is added.

Complete DMC systems use the latest on-site continuous mortar-mixing machines, silo systems for bulk supply and render spray machines for high-efficiency application methods.
