RIXOS Hotels is to make its debut in Istanbul, Turkey, with the Rixos Residences Bomonty, which will be developed at a cost of $137.2 million.

Located in the Bomonti District, the luxury 42-storey tower will offer breathtaking views of the Bosphorus, the historic peninsula of Old Istanbul and the New City.
“The project is unique – it will be centrally located, highly accessible and most importantly, developed with the utmost care and attention to detail,” said Fettah Tamince, chairman, Rixos Hotels.
Rixos Residences Bomonty, which already has a waiting list of 150 investors, will consist of six penthouses and 308 serviced suites all decorated in accordance with the highest standards dictated by Rixos, according to the company.
Leading Italian designers, including SCIC and Gaggenau for the kitchen, and Puntotre Arredobagno for the bathrooms, will be involved in the project that is expected to be completed in December 2011.
The tower will be situated on a 11,000 sq m plot, landscaped and complete with a full range of amenities to ensure utmost comfort and visual appeal.
The tower, with a heliport on its roof, will stand in close proximity to the planned Bomonti-Dolmabahce tunnel, connecting the Bomonti District to the historic Dolmabahce, situated along the banks of the Bosphorus. The tunnel is expected to save time by reducing a 45-minute journey to four minutes.
Other features will include a 2,500-sq-m spa area managed by the Rixos Health Club; a multi-purpose sports area, mini-golf course and café.
